David Berkey grew up in Westchester County, New York where he lived and raised his family before moving to the Roaring Fork Valley full-time in 2023. David has spent his entire career working in the commercial real estate industry, initially with CBRE representing an array of major corporations in the acquisition and disposition of their real estate holdings, and subsequently working for L&L Holding Company, a premier developer, to help create some of New York’s most iconic office properties.

David is very active in the community and devotes his time to such causes as Challenge Aspen, Mountain Rescue Aspen and Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers. He is also an ambassador for Aspen Ski Company on Ajax Mountain. David is married and has three adult children. He is an avid skier, hiker and downhill biker and generally prefers to spend his time outdoors.
